Should you currently be considering the purchase of fees or a practice we are here to assist you in that process. Having worked with practices for over 20 years we have the in-house expertise to help you through the issues involved.

As market leaders in the field, we have joined forces with Accountancy Age in order to offer maximum coverage for your requirements. Our streamlined service is therefore able to offer to you this unique service at a cost of just 2% of fees acquired, plus of course VAT. An identical charge would also be made to the vendor. There will be an administration charge of £25 plus VAT to place an advert. This will be credited to your account on completion of a purchase.

This cost effective service allows maximum exposure to your specific requirements not only to current practice vendors but, through your advertisement on the Accountancy Age/ Goldsmiths website, will also provide you with the opportunity for those only thinking about selling to contact us, and potentially be passed on to you.

Full support services are available through Accountancy Age/Goldsmiths in respect of practice purchase requirements. For example non disclosure agreements, heads of agreement, full support assistance during the negotiation process together with valuations, letters of comfort for the clients, and of course access to finance subject to application.

A legal contract can be made available on a separate basis in order to minimise legal fees.

They currently have a turnover of approximately £1.7 million, and are looking to sell or merge their practice at this time. One partner to leave upon sale or merger, with two partners to remain in the practice.

The Four Stages of the Process

Stage 1

Contact us direct with your requirements in terms of practice requirements covering amount of fees sought, location and time scale. You will be asked in return to sign a fee agreement.

Stage 2

Should there be an existing opportunity registered on the site to which you have responded, we will forward your name for consideration by the vendors. You will appreciate that due to confidentiality we cannot disclose the name of the vendors without their permission. Should the introduction be accepted we will forward brief details of the practice to you. Should there not be suitable match for you at this time we will immediately place your requirement on the website in order to achieve opportunities for you. The above process would then be repeated.

Stage 3

Arrangements will be made to introduce you to the vendor. Should the first meeting prove positive, we will provide Heads of Agreement, and none disclosure forms for completion. We will advise on the purchase process and assist in achieving a satisfactory agreement by both parties. We will also advise on funding of the purchase.

Stage 4

You may have a solicitor you wish to instruct. We do make available a DIY contract for the purchase. This is charged for separately from the purchase fees. We can also refer you to an experienced lawyer who would assist with completion of the deal. Finally we have letter templates for issue to the clients of the practice in order to offer comfort to encourage a smooth and loss free transfer.

This facility has been developed to assist you the practitioner to achieve the aims and goals of your practice in terms of growth. At all times we are keen to work with you to develop the service and your comments and input are vital in ensuring that we offer you the service in a manner and style that works best for you.
